Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship

As part of the Diploma in Commerce programme, students will showcase their entrepreneurial skills in Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship.

Students will learn how to develop strong entrepreneurial knowledge and skills as well as the opportunity to show their business savvy while preparing them to operate in the open market.

We fully support our students and give give them the opportunity to shine at Pitch Borneo.

Students will be exposed to tips in creating business canvases, pitching the right way as well as preparing presentation slides. This includes free mentoring session with certified mentors who had experience in business industries.

Pitchborneo is a pitching competition open to all entrepreneurs (new and experienced) to propose their business ideas to win funding and startup capital worth RM200,000. This competition has helped many local entrepreneurs launch their business to success!

Experience and knowledge

At Institut Sinaran students will complete their eight weeks internship experience as part of the Diploma in Commerce requirement.

Developing one's knowledge of workplace collaboration, business etiquette, and strong communication tactics are among the vital “soft skills” that can only be learned on the job.

In this way, internships in your area of study will build your résumé and teach instrumental, career-developing qualities.

Internships are foundational in preparing students for the workforce and providing opportunities after graduation.
